Describe your job at Trapp Technology.
Graphic Design Intern.
How do you describe what you do for a living to your friends?
I’m in creative design.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an owner of a convenience store, so then I can eat all the snacks without paying for it! 🙂
What’s the last book you read in its entirety?
Pride and Prejudice. I like the story a lot, so I bought an English version to practice my English also.
What’s your ideal travel destination?
For now, I think it’s Japan. I love the culture there, especially the design spirit. So I want to see and feel it and get some inspirations.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?
Home, playing video games or shopping at the mall!
Do you do any volunteer work?
Yes! During my time at Rochester Institute (RIT), NY, I volunteered at an autism community and spent time with autistic children.
Where did you grow up? What do you love about it?
I was born in a small city named Lu’an in China. The food there is good and people there are very nice. The city has a very important position in history and lots of famous heroes were from there, like Zhou Yu (google him!) I love its cultural environment.
What could you not get through the day without?
Maybe the Internet…
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
First time I got a puppy. My mom bought him for me as a birthday gift and I named him Fei-Fei (pronounced Fi-Fi), meaning fly in Chinese. I wanted him to fly!
What was your first job, and would you do it again if you had to?
I was a freelance designer when I was in college in China. It was a little hard but fun! I learned a lot of design skills and I would do it again if I had chance.
What is your favorite movie?
As of lately, my favorite movie is Guardians of the Galaxy. But I’m also a big fan of Tim Burton. I like his earlier movies very much, like Edward Scissorhands and Corpse Bride. Also I admire his hand sketches of gothic characters.
How do you want to be remembered?
A happy and creative girl, who always had innovative ideas!
What has been your proudest moment thus far with Trapp Technology?
I really enjoy every moment at Trapp and my proudest moment is when everyone loves my design! 🙂
What are you most passionate about professionally?
Keeping my mind creative and innovative so I always have a fresh perspective.
What do you think sets Trapp Technology apart from the competition?
The pace that Trapp is growing is really strong and for good reason. I’m proud to be part of Team Trapp during this progressive time.
