Arizona-based IT solutions company continues their support of the Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Code:RED Heat Relief initiative.

PHOENIX – August 19, 2019 – Trapp Technology, trapptechnology.com, a Phoenix-based provider of cloud, managed IT services, and cybersecurity solutions, today announced the results of its fifth annual water drive held in support of the CODE:RED Summer Heat Relief campaign hosted by the Phoenix Rescue Mission, phoenixrescuemission.org. The Phoenix-based non-profit organization provides water, clothes, hygiene products, food, and more to homeless individuals and families throughout the Valley.

Each year between the months of May and September, an average of 132 Phoenicians die of dehydration and other heat-related illnesses. To help combat what city officials refer to as an “invisible, slow-moving crisis,” Trapp Technology and its employees donated over 500 cases of bottled water for distribution to Phoenix’s most vulnerable populations: senior citizens, those with disabilities, and the homeless community.

“The opportunity to contribute to such an important cause and help others directly supports our core values at Trapp Technology,” says Beth Schaefer, Director of Human Resources and founder of TrappLIFE, the company’s internal culture and corporate responsibility committee. “Year after year, I am overwhelmed and impressed by the volume of water donated by our employees and leadership.”

“As both a company and individuals, we can all get competitive when it’s in support of a good cause. Our annual water drive is a great way to both strengthen the bonds I have with my coworkers and stand behind the important work of the Phoenix Rescue Mission.” – Paige Insalaco, Chief Financial Officer
