August Message from the CEO

August Message from the CEO 1080 454 Trapp Technology

Our summer is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon here at Trapp Technology! We’ve flown all over the country lately, and we’ve been meeting so many great people!

If you were in Washington, D.C. during the last week of July, you probably saw us in and around the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center for the annual Sage Summit conference (see our Sage Summit wrap up post here). We met many new Sage resellers, and spoke with some smart businessmen and women. We also had dinner with ExakTime, who are creators of construction time and attendance software.

After settling back in to our offices after Sage Summit, we travelled to Philadelphia for the TOPS Software User Conference. We are partnered with TOPS to provide cloud hosting services for their TOPS Hosted software, and it’s always great to get some one-on-one time with TOPS users to answer their questions and hear about how cloud hosting makes their community management jobs easier! After our visit to Philadelphia, we stopped in New York City and met with Interweave. You can read more about our partnership with Interweave here.

There are some big changes on the horizon when it comes to our corporate offices, as well. We are currently in the process of expanding our tech support center to include a second office here in Scottsdale, Arizona. We’re thrilled to be able to offer a full support team that is on call for 24 hours a day, with a live call center between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Eastern, and our new facilities will accommodate a more productive environment for our team.

Our exciting news doesn’t stop there. We’ve invested in serious infrastructure upgrades to Cisco UCS servers. This provides higher user efficiencies, faster set up times, a more resilient and reliable network, as well as increased scalability. We also installed a new upgraded Net App storage array to provide better performance and more storage capacity. Additionally, we now have a true product demo environment, giving prospective clients the chance to see how their software will function in the cloud.

These extensive upgrades and investments will pave the way for an exciting new storage-related product that will join the Trapp Technology product suite in the fourth quarter. I can’t wait to tell you all more about it as the launch draws near!

Finally, we announced the launch of our sister company, Trapp Connect earlier this week! Trapp Connect is an affordable, ultra-reliable Internet service for business. The service provides the advantages of over a blend of bandwidth from multiple Tier 1 carriers. Trapp Connect has been a labor of love, and it is so fulfilling to see the infrastructure that we have built from the ground up get a chance to stretch its legs a bit!

Be sure to connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+! We post company news, helpful hints, and industry-specific articles that you won’t want to miss!

Best,
