Arizona IT solutions company donates Phoenix Mercury game day tickets to show support for American Cancer Society and American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Event and Program Volunteers

Scottsdale, Arizona – July 30, 2015 – Scottsdale-based Trapp Technology, a provider of IT, Internet, VoIP, and cloud hosting solutions, recently provided a package of WNBA game tickets to volunteers of the American Cancer Society – the largest nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. The Phoenix Mercury vs. Chicago Sky game was held at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on July 28, 2015.

The ticket recipients were American Cancer Society and American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) event and program volunteers who donate their time and talents to help deliver our programs that are free to cancer patients and their support systems; Reach To Recovery, Road To Recovery, Look Good, Feel Better, hotel partner lodging, and Hope Lodge; and promote advocacy work to ensure that cancer remains a local, state, and national priority. Many of the volunteers are cancer survivors themselves or caregivers. Attending events such as these provide the volunteers and cancer survivors the opportunity to connect with others who share a similar journey, and to enjoy a night out before they gear up for upcoming events including Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Phoenix scheduled for August, and Relay For Life events in the fall.

“The American Cancer Society is grateful for the continued support from Trapp Technology,” said Coleen McKinstry, community manager for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event of Phoenix. “This partnership allows us to recognize volunteers and survivors for the great work they do in delivering the lifesaving mission of the Society.”
